Use all 5 swimming facilities. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by a guardian 13 years and older at the pools. Membership cards are not valid at special pool events.

In the winter, the indoor Sports Core Pool may open late or close due to inclement weather. If Worcester County Public Schools are closed or open on a two-hour delay for snow or ice, the pool will open at 10 a.m. for all activities. If Worcester County Public Schools operate on a one-hour delay for any reason or a two-hour delay due to fog, the pool will open at its regularly scheduled time. In the event of more extreme snow or ice, it may be necessary to close the pool for the day or longer. Please visit Ocean Pines Aquatics on Facebook for the latest weather updates. Any aquatics classes missed due a delayed opening or closure will be made up.

Please note that all outdoor pools in Ocean Pines and the indoor Sports Core Pool close during thunder and/or lightning.

Ocean Pines Aquatics makes every effort, when programming and space allow, to have two lap lanes available at the indoor Sports Core Pool (open year-round), and at the outdoor Yacht Club and Swim & Racquet Club pools (open seasonally). Time constraints will be placed on those swimming laps as needed to accommodate demand for lanes.

For lap swimming at the Sports Core Pool, please call 410-641-5255 to confirm availability. The best times for lap swimming are:

• Monday-Friday 6 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. (Early Bird Lap Swim: free for Ocean Pines swim members, $8 for all others. Cash only; please pay the lifeguard on duty.) OR 12 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• Saturday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Sunday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Lap lanes are NOT available:

• Monday-Thursday 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
• Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
• Saturday 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
