About
The Recreation & Parks Department offers an array of year-round recreational and leisure activities for all ages and interests. The mission of the Recreation & Parks Department is to provide quality and cost-effective recreational activities, facilities, parks and special events that meet the needs of Ocean Pines property owners and residents. In order to fulfill its mission, the department offers a broad range of classes and community-wide activities. It also operates and schedules activities in the Community Center, parks, marinas, Beach Club and tennis facilities.

Hatha Yoga | Hatha yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga in America and uses postures, breathing techniques and meditation. A new session will be held on Mondays from 11 a.m.- noon at the Community Center beginning Feb. 22. |
Pickleball Clinics | Join Instructor Jacob Cook (USPTA/PPR) to learn proper strokes and strategies. Separate clinics for beginners and intermediate players will be held on Saturdays beginning Feb. 13 at the Community Center. |
Chair Yoga | This class will utilize a chair to perform a series of poses. A six-week session will be held on Mondays, Feb. 22-March 29 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Community Center. Drop-in also available. |
Investing 101 Seminar | Learn about investing in stocks, bonds, cash, mutual funds, exchange traded funds and alternative products at this free seminar on Feb. 18 and April 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Community Center. |
Drop-In Cornhole | Drop in for cornhole beginning in January at the Community Center Gym. BYO boards and bags. Just $5 per person! |
