'Actors,' volunteers needed for Ocean Pines haunted house

The Ocean Pines Recreation and Parks Department is seeking volunteers for its haunted house Oct. 22-24 from 5-9 p.m. at the Ocean Pines Community Center. 

Twenty "actors" are needed to participate in the haunted house in themed areas such as a morgue, circus, corn field, werewolf forest and more.

Volunteers are also needed to help set up the haunted house Oct. 19-21. The Community Center will be open all three days from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their creativity and add their special touches to the decor.

Admission for those visiting the haunted house is $8 for ages 12 and under and $10 for ages 13 and up. Those who bring a canned good donation for Diakonia will receive $1 off the admission price. (Limit one discount per person.)
