UPDATED: Road painting to cause closures in The Parke community until May 15

UPDATED May 8: Closures will need to continue until Friday, May 15. The original release follows:

The following is a May 4 communication from The Park at Ocean Pines community:

Weather permitting, the painting of the red stamped asphalt will begin on Tuesday, May 5. This project will be completed on Tuesday, but it will take 48 hours before anyone can drive on the road surface. Therefore, the following road closures will be necessary for several days:

1. Ocean Parkway median

This is found directly across from the main entrance to The Parke, at the intersection of Central Parke West

2. Central Parke West

Between the intersections of Arcadia Court and Ocean Parkway, including the intersection with Potomac Avenue

Additional blockage will be needed for:

3. Mail Pavilion Parking Lot

We will block off the red asphalt walkway, but all residents will still be able to retrieve their mail

4. Clubhouse Front Walkway

We will update the Association if the dates change. The road closures will most likely be in effect until Friday.
