'Welcome to 2021' - A message from the Director of Recreation and Parks

We are all hoping for a bright, healthy, safe and prosperous new year. The Recreation Department is excited about 2021 and all of the things we have to offer the community.

We are working with the local health department and management to bring back as many of the community organizations, leagues and classes as we can possibly do safely.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page and the Association website for more upcoming events, as we can hopefully start the process of getting back to normal business.

In this newsletter, you will find some of the winter programs coming up from January to March, such as NEW youth dance classes and adult jazz classes, Shape Ups, and Zumba classes. Relax, stretch, and balance with different forms of Tai Chi.

If you are interested in ping pong, stop by Monday, Wednesday or Friday to get information from the community organization that runs the group. They are always looking for new members.

We are also looking forward to getting our community organizations back soon. We miss all of the groups that patronize our community center.

The Pine’eer Gift Shop is open on weekends. Stop by for that special gift, or special something for yourself.

The Farmers Market will be open on Saturdays as well, with as many vendors as possible for the winter season.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! I am looking forward to 2021 and getting back to the awesome programs offered here at the Recreation Department.
