Report: Former OPA Board member Tom Sandusky has passed away

The following was shared by Bob Long, of the Ocean Pines Golf Members’ Council:

Tom Sandusky passed away Sunday afternoon, Aug. 2, in New Jersey at the age of 81. Tom was a lifetime member of Ocean Pines and a very active member of the OPMGA. Until about three years ago, Tom played most every Men's Day and tournament.

Tom served the OPA as a member of the Board of Directors and as a member of several association committees. Tom was also active in the broader community as a member of a good many civic organizations.

There are many nice guys who play golf at Ocean Pines ... Tom was one of the nicest. Please tip your cap when you arrive at the fourth tee this week.
