The Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market will host traditional Thanksgiving markets

(Oct. 24, 2024) The Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market will hold its traditional Thanksgiving markets on Saturday, Nov. 23, and Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the White Horse Marketplace.

Each year, the market’s merchants gather for this special two-day festival, offering an extensive selection of products to help shoppers prepare for Thanksgiving. Visitors can expect vibrant displays of locally grown produce, oven-fresh baked goods, gourmet foods, face painting, food trucks, and live music. Local nonprofit and civic organizations will also be featured.

Market bakeries are currently taking orders for holiday items, and shoppers are encouraged to visit their favorite vendors to browse menu options and place their orders early.

In addition to food, artisans and crafters will showcase a variety of one-of-a-kind items perfect for early holiday shopping. Unique hostess gifts, such as homemade soaps, candles, jewelry, and fresh florals, will be available for purchase.

The Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market will offer the finest Delmarva products to help prepare homes for the Thanksgiving season. This rain-or-shine event is open to the public and will take place at the White Horse Marketplace.

In addition to the market, the community is invited to participate in the Cranksgiving bike ride food drive on Saturday, Nov. 23, starting at 9 a.m. from the Ocean Pines Yacht Club. Participants will ride to local stores, including Food Lion, Dollar General, and the Ocean Pines Farmers Market, to purchase food donations for Sarah’s Pantry at the Ocean Pines Community Church & Diakonia.

Cranksgiving is a family-friendly and free event, with donations collected at each location or dropped off at the green market section of White Horse Marketplace.
