Free foreclosure prevention workshops

The following information has been provided by Telamon Corporation, a nonprofit organization offering early childhood and family support, workforce and career services, and housing and financial empowerment.

Telamon Corporation is offering two Foreclosure Prevention Workshops this month, one for Maryland residents and one for Delaware residents. These are educational workshops offered to assist families who may be experiencing challenges making their mortgage payments. This workshop will include information regarding assistance available during the COVID-19 pandemic and how to avoid loan scams, in addition to guidance on how to access assistance after the pandemic if financial challenges continue.

Maryland’s workshop will be held Wednesday, May 20 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and Delaware’s workshop will be held Thursday, May 21 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Both workshops are offered free of charge via GoToMeeting. Pre-registration is required and can be completed by emailing [email protected] or calling 443-397-7000.
