Visit Ocean Pines Farmers Market for Thanksgiving

At the Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market, you’ll find a variety of farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, locally and humanely raised meats, and made-with-love sweet treats to fill your Thanksgiving table.

Here’s a handy shopping list of some of the goodies you’ll find from the vendors at the special Thanksgiving-themed market Tuesday, Nov. 20 from 8 .m. – noon at White Horse Park to create the best Thanksgiving dinner ever.

• Broccoli – a broccoli casserole hits the spot.
• Cabbage – try it grilled or sautéed
• Carrots
• Cauliflower – pick up some fresh cheese and drizzle over the cauliflower

• Parsnips
• Potatoes – Got to have mashed potatoes with gravy

Pick up fresh cheese at the market. Stag Run Farm has delicious varieties of Hard Cheese and a selection of fantastic cheese spreads in different flavors. Wild Hare Bakery has artisan breads, for the holiday table and for those leftover turkey sandwiches. Chrissy Bee’s will have the honey you’ll need to spread on fresh rolls.
