This Week in The Pines: Dec. 26

Post-Christmas Frenzy in Ocean Pines: We are starting the new year with a pretty sweet deal at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club, located at 1 Mumford’s Landing Road. On Jan. 1, we’ll be offering 50% off ALL food items! We’re open to the public. Try our Baked Oysters, Jumbo Soft Pretzel or Pan-Seared Salmon entree at half price.

Plus, folks in Worcester County may not have to fret about finding fresh produce, unique finds and live music during the frigid months. The indoor market will run each Saturday, Jan. 5 – March 9 from 9 a.m. – noon at the Northside Fire House next to White Horse Park.

As we get rid of the remnants of Christmas, the Solid Waste Division of Worcester County will host its annual collection of Christmas trees through January 15, 2019. Area residents can drop off Christmas trees at area landfills at no cost.

Special recognition goes to the home of Jennifer Arthur, which has won first place in the annual “Light Up the Pines” house decorating contest.

This and more can be found in the “This Week in The Pines: Dec. 26.”
