This Week in The Pines: Aug. 20

Sizzling Summer Fun Goes into Overdrive in Ocean Pines, Maryland. Opposite Directions, a local hit rock band, performs on Thursday, Aug. 23 from 7 – 9 p.m. at White Horse Park, located 239 Ocean Parkway in Ocean Pines. The concert is free and open to the public. The musical duo from Ocean City consists of singer Darin Engh, who also plays an acoustic guitar, bass, keyboard and harmonica, and singer Bob Wilkinson, who also plays the acoustic guitar, bass and harmonica.

Don’t forget to join us for baseball and fireworks. Ocean Pines residents and guests are invited to enjoy “Ocean Pines Day” at Perdue Stadium on Aug. 30. Discounted game tickets, $8, are now on sale at the Administration Building.
