The Ocean Pines Association Board of Directors Organization Meeting was held today and the Board voted 4-3 to select Pat Renaud as its new president. Director Cheryl Jacobs was selected as vice president by a 5-2 vote, Director Tom Herrick was appointed secretary by acclimation, and Tom Terry was named treasurer by a 4-3 vote. Also during the meeting, Bob Thompson and Pete Gomsak were named assistant treasurer. Their next Regular Meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 24 @ 9am in the Comm. Center.

Women’s Club of Ocean Pines Meeting

Club officers will recap the 2014-15 year at this monthly meeting, the first of the membership year. Light refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity to participate in a 50/50 raffle. Women’s Club membership dues are $10 per year. Join club members on the first Thursday of the month for speakers, luncheons, auctions, raffles and fundraisers. The organization also awards yearly scholarships to high school seniors and makes donations to organizations that support Ocean Pines residents.
