The Board will hold a Working
Session on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 4:00pm in the Board Room to
discuss the proposed amendment to the Association’s Charter. The
Board will hold a special meeting on April 24, 2013 at 2:00pm, prior to
the scheduled regular meeting of that date at 3:00pm and vote whether
to approve the proposed amendment or a revised amendment to the
Charter. The proposed amendment, a change summary, and the
current charter may be viewed through a link to the Articles of
Incorporation DRAFT on the home page of the Association website, www.oceanpines.org.
Association members are encouraged to review the proposed amendment and
submit comments through the website link or

flushed, it is still possible to experience discolored water. If area
residents notice that their water becomes cloudy during these times,
please allow the water to run for a few minutes until it becomes clear.

COUNTY OFFERS RABIES CLINICS




Pet owners, take
advantage of the inexpensive rabies vaccinations clinics offered this
spring by the Worcester County Health Department and Animal Control.


Rabies is a
dangerous fatal disease and ongoing problem in the county and in Ocean
Pines.
Spring clinics will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. at:

The cost for a rabies vaccination is $5 per pet for
Worcester County residents and $10 per pet for non-Worcester County
residents.
Proof of residency is required. Vaccinations are available for dogs,
cats and ferrets.

Worcester County Health Department at 410-352-3234 or 410-641-9559.
If an incident occurs after normal business hours, contact your local
law enforcement or the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office.

We have a great season lined up! It’s the final season at the
current facilty before our closing party this Labor
Day. We held the Groundbreaking for the new facility on March 14,
2013. Come check out the new facility construction
beginning. The New facilty opening planned for early 2014,
Current facility open through Labor Day. The new YC
pool Construction is underway, new pool by June.

The Ocean Pines Anglers Club will meet on Saturday,
April 13 at 9:30AM in the Ocean Pines library. The speaker will be Cpl.
Frost from MD DNR. He will speak about new regulations, boating
channel changes and poaching. He will use internet videos
that show how to catch any kind of fish, what tackle to use, bait and
lure selection, how to cast, how to fly cast, how to throw a cast net,
how to clean fish. A fishing flea market will also be held
to buy or sell rods, reels, lures, etc. All welcome.

Household Hazardous
Waste & E-Cycling Collection Day on Saturday, April 20


10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Park & Ride Lot in West Ocean City.


Gather up those old
or unusable cans of pesticides, pool chemicals, gas and other fuels,
oil-base paints, thinners and everyday hazardous wastes accumulating in
and around the home and bring them to the recycling center for safe
disposal. Electronic items, such as computers, monitors, keyboards,
printers, radios, televisions and VCR’s, will be collected and later
recycled.



This event is open
to Worcester County residents only. A representative from MDE will be
on-site checking vehicle registration. For more information, contact
