US Coast Guard Auxiliary Maryland Basic Boating Course
Class Sessions Begin March 8
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Ocean Pines Library / $15 per person
This course meets the requirements of the Maryland Boating Safety Education Act, which requires anyone born after July 1, 1972 to possess a Maryland Basic Boating Safety Certificate to operate a boat in the state of Maryland.  Those attending and passing will receive a Maryland boating certificate.  The three-evening course will include discussions about local water knowledge, piloting, knots, boat terms, trailering, maintenance, boating safely, legal requirements and more.  Fee includes course materials.  To register or for questions, contact Barry at 410-935-4807
