The 9th Bavarian Hops Match & 3rd Annual  “7th TEE BOX PARTY” Friday, Sept 5th @ 4pm 

For all those non-golfers out there who like to have a good time, come out and join this fun group on the 7th tee box for a casual afternoon of chit chat, laughs, and most importantly – busting on the golfers of the Bavarian Hops Match!Bring your lawn chair, your favorite adult beverage, a snack / finger food to share, and then sit back, relax, and laugh while the “peanut gallery” is busting on the golfers trying to get closest to the pin!!!RSVP to Ernie for a head count for the shuttle cart (shuttle carts will get partiers from the Clubhouse to the 7th Tee Box Party and back).

The trolley operates from 10 am to 10 pm.  Ocean Pines stops at Community Center, Sports Core Pool, and OP Library.  Connect to West Ocean City Park and Ride with stops at the Casino at Ocean Downs, West Ocean City Harbor/Marina, Ocean Pines Sports Core swimming pool and Community Center, downtown Berlin and the Berlin Walmart.

Junior Golf Clinic

For ages 5-14.  Whether your child is new to the game of golf or brushing up on the basics, these weekly clinics will help instill a lifetime love of the game!  Players will work on different aspects of the game of golf, including fundamentals, chipping, pitching, swing, bunker play and playing the course.  Equipment will be provided, although players are welcome to bring their own clubs if they have them.   – Sept. 10, 17 & 24.

$15 Pickleball Clinics 

The fastest growing sport in the USA! Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The game is played with a Wiffle ball and wooden paddles on a surface half the size of a tennis court. The wiffle ball travels at about half the speed of a tennis ball. This great family-friendly game is accessible to almost everyone, regardless of age or athletic ability. The clinics will teach stroke technique and game strategies, in addition to providing the opportunity to play.

 This Saturday meet Town Cats in our Community Corner! The nonprofit organization of Town Cats is in our Community Corner this Saturday. Learn about the opportunity to adopt or foster a kitten. This organization relies on volunteers to foster rescued kittens until they are adopted to a loving home. The all-volunteer organization is always in need of volunteers to help. Learn how you might be able to volunteer. Of course, donations are needed. 100% of every donation goes to the care of the cats and kittens.
