Sports Core Indoor Pool – Open Year Round!
Open Mon-Sat from 10am-9pm, Sundays 10am – 6pm
This facility offers a large, heated indoor pool with a slide, spacious indoor & outdoor sundecks and loungers. The Sports Core Pool hosts fitness classes, swim lessons, and special events all year for all ages and is perfect for birthday parties. Swim members may use this pool for lap lanes daily starting at 6am.

On Saturday November 8th get acquainted with Katelyn Kirby, a local Ocean City artisan baker. Katelyn is the owner of Seaside Sweets, offers fresh baked seasonal delights, with cupcakes as her specialty. Find out why her customers call her baked goods “A little piece of heaven for your taste buds!”
November 15th the Keystone Candles joins our market. Their generous size jar candles are hand poured using paraffin, soy, and palm waxes, and scented with high quality oils. On November 29th, begin your holiday decorating with our artisan craftsman, merchants and farmers. The market will be filled with fresh greens, wreaths, swags and garlands to deck the halls. Turn those Turkey day leftovers into something fresh with the addition of the season’s best produce. And, begin you holiday gift shopping with our local vendors. We’re your farmers market for the holiday season!
KIDS MARKET ZONE
As the weather changes, we’re going to the birds with a fun project to teach children the appreciation of wildlife right in their very own backyard. Ms. Vicki and her creative crafting crew will be making Pinecone Bird Feeders with the children in the Kids Market Zone. With this project, kids will love being able to watch the birds eating from the feeder they crafted at market. It will give them a sense of satisfaction and fosters stewardship to see that they can help their feathered friends find something to eat.
Kids Market Zone activities begin at 9:00am and are open to all children between the ages of 3 and 14. The Holy Trinity Cathedral is hos of the Ocean Pines Farmers Market Kids Zone. A Small donation is suggested, but not required for a child participating in an activity at the Kids Market Zone.
Worcester County Beach Bots –
This Saturday the Worcester Beach Bots Robotics team is under our Community Corner Tent. The group is holding a large multi-family yard sale to raise much needed funds so the group can travel to Florida in the spring of 2015 for an upcoming event. The Worcester Beach Bots Robotics team consists of students from several Worcester County Public Schools. Students from Stephen Decatur, Snow Hill, Pocomoke, and Worcester Technical High Schools work together to design and build robots for FIRST Regional and State Competitions. FIRST (For inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a robotics program that inspires young people to be science and technology leaders. This global program offers over 16 million dollars in college scholarships and also fosters self-confidence, communication, and leadership in our students. Please support this outstanding group of students that represent our future!

Players from Delaware, Salisbury, Pocomoke and OP will be coming together to play in this fun, social event, hosted by Vicky Siebers (ambassador – Eastern Shore Pickleball) and the Lower Shore YMCA in Pocomoke.

Ocean Pines Garden Club Trip to East Coast Garden Center

The Ocean Pines Garden Club will head to the East Coast Garden Center in Millsboro, Delaware for a winter container plant workshop. Purchase a planter from the garden center or bring your own (19 inches in diameter and 22-24 inches high) and create an arrangement to take home! After the workshop, the club will carpool to Baywood Greens for lunch in the clubhouse at 1:00 pm. The specially designed menu will include a choice of sandwich or salad, dessert and beverage. Tax and tip is included. The cost of the trip with planter, plants and lunch is $72; the cost of the trip if you choose to bring your own planter is $57.
