Great Expectations Farm – The February special includes 2 packages of ground beef, 1 package of pork spare ribs, 1 package of breakfast sausage and 1 package of chip steak for $40.
Pesky Grass – Welcome Ellen Sproul from Pocomoke, Maryland to the market. Pesky Grass bakes up lots of delicious treats including healthy and fabulous raw bars, but will only be at the market a short time. Be sure to stop by!
A Country Rose – We send get-well wishes to Kathy of A Country Rose. Kathy brings her handmade country decor and scented wax melts to market each week. She will be absent from the market for a few weeks while she recovers from a recent accident.
Tout De Suite – Barb and Dave have taken a rare but much deserved vacation to travel and visit with family. Barb will be heating the ovens back up in late February. Check back for news of their return to market.
Market Out & About – Look for the Ocean Pines Farmers Market team and volunteers at some upcoming community events. Visit with us to learn about vending and volunteer opportunities with Worcester County’s largest farmers market! On Wednesday, March 9 from 4-7 pm, we’ll be at the Ocean Pines Chamber Business Expo at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club. On Wednesday, March 16 from 5-7 pm, we’ll be at the “Go Green” Volunteer Fair & Happy Hour at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club.
Winter Seasonal Raffle – The Ocean Pines Farmers Market is holding a winter 50/50 raffle, which will continue through February. The winning ticket will be drawn on Saturday, March 5. Tickets may be purchased at the Market Information Booth for $1 each. Tickets will be sold throughout the year with seasonal drawings on May 28, August 27 and November 26.
Kids Market Zone
This Saturday at the Kid’s Market Zone, the Crafting Crew will have a mystery box of items and will be making something fun with the kids. Kids Market Zone activities are free! Activities begin at 9 am and are open to all children ages 3 to 14. The Holy Trinity Cathedral is host of the Ocean Pines Farmers Market’s Kids Market Zone.
