The Pie Lady is Back! – After a short vacation, Marilyn will be back this Saturday with her famous Snow Hill Heirloom Pies. Have you become a fan of her oh-so sinfully good pies? After hand rolling her signature flaky pie dough, she fills the pies with seasonal fruits and more. Marilyn’s real secret to the delicious heirloom pies is her love of making the pies she learned to bake at her grandmother’s side as a young girl. You’ll find the Snow Hill Heirloom Pies’ market stand under the bright pink tent just inside the Market Commons Gate.
Toffee Vacation – Taylor’s Toffee takes a short break from market this Saturday. Look for Taylor’s to return on August 29.
Chainsaw Carvings Returns! – You’ve been asking when this vendor would return and now Chainsaw Carvings is back for a visit this Saturday, August 22. The works range from beautiful wildlife carvings to totem poles. Don’t miss this unique vendor!
Just Peachy – Cole Farm is now a member of our ever-growing vendor family. Jason Cole’s small family farm is continuing the historic tradition of growing a peach crop in Berlin, Maryland, once home to some of the largest peach orchards in the country. Cole Farm will be at the Ocean Pines Farmers Market with several varieties of peaches as they come into season. Peach pie, peaches and cream or local favorite peach dumplings are just a few ways you might want to enjoy the delicious peaches of Cole Farm.
September 5 Labor Day Weekend Market – The market will have all of the fixins for your holiday celebrations! And at 10:00 am, Holly Agnew will be featured in our “Meet Me at the Market” series. Learn how to make homemade bath salts using essential oils. The cost is $5 per person.
Kids Market Zone
This Saturday at the Kid’s Market Zone, the Crafting Crew will have a mystery box of items and will be making something fun with the kids. Kids Market Zone activities are free! Activities begin at 9 am and are open to all children ages 3 to 14. The Holy Trinity Cathedral is host of the Ocean Pines Farmers Market’s Kids Market Zone.
