Seashell SweetsCoffee, Tea & More – Seashell Sweets is back at market!  Now you can again enjoy a steaming cup of coffee or tea, or perhaps an icy-cold refreshing beverage as you stroll the farmers market.  Check out the selection of nostalgic candies and baked goods and some other nifty new offerings now available.

The Garlic Queen Returns –  Welcome back to Linda’s Backyard from Whaleyville, Maryland. The queen of organic garlic returns this Saturday!  In addition to her heirloom varieties of garlic, Linda will be bringing fruit from her orchard, heirloom cherry tomatoes and delicious jams and jellies from her kitchen. Don’t miss her hand-painted dried gourd bird houses, too.

Get Shabby Chic at Market – Welcome On Island Time to the market.  Artisan Amy Smith transforms furniture into unique shabby chic accent pieces and repurposes baskets, textiles, photos and more for your home.  Don’t miss this new boutique vendor.  On Island Time will be at the market this Saturday, May 23.  Check back for future appearances.

Fun & Quirky – Mary Harris of Antiques Limited brings her jewelry to market this Saturday.  Choose from fun and quirky pins from Erstwilder from Melbourne, Australia and Marie-Christine Pavone from Paris, France. Many are limited-edition resin pins.

peonyNow Blooming – The peonies are blooming! This week Terry of Longridge Gardens is cutting these late spring/early summer favorites and will have bouquets available to decorate your Memorial Day table.  Look for Terry’s big yellow tent!

It’s Fresh Strawberry Pie Time – Who’s ready for fresh strawberry pie from Holly Hill Homemade Goods?  Pick up your pie at this Saturday’s market, or preorder one for pick up at the market by calling 410-430-0103 or emailing .  Small pies are $6; large pies are $18.

Faraffle-page-001rmers Market Raffle – The Ocean Pines Farmers Market is offering market visitors the chance to win a new bicycle and ride around the market in style with the introduction of its 2015 raffle.  Tickets will be sold at the market through Nov. 21.  Other prizes include $100 in Market Bucks, valid at any Ocean Pines Farmers Market vendor, and an Ocean Pines Farmers Market gift basket with market products and gift certificates valued at $50.  Tickets are $5 each or $20 for six.  The raffle drawing will be held at the 2015 Thanksgiving Market on Nov. 21.  Winners need not be present to win.

Artisan Vendor Call – Artists and crafters, you’re invited to participate as vendors at the 2015 Ocean Pines Farmers Market.  The market is becoming a Saturday morning cultural centerpiece of Maryland’s Eastern Shore community by embracing artisan market vendors.  In addition to the traditional farmers market vendors, shoppers now look for artisans selling jewelry, beading, metalwork, photography, paintings, leather goods, carved wood pieces, textiles and other products.  For artisan vending information, contact Market Manager David Bean at or 410-251-6383.

Memorial Day Farmers Market May 23 – Fire up the grill with all of the fixins found at the Memorial Day Weekend Farmers Market.  Early summer produce at its freshest will be stacked high on our farmers’ stands.  A selection of beef, pork, poultry and lamb from Great Expectations Farm or fish from Alaskan Wild Seafood will be ready for the grill.  Grab a freshly baked pound cake to serve with ripe summer berries, or take home a delicious pie.  You’ll find the season’s best at this special market!




Mixed-Fresh-BerriesBerry Festival June 27 – The Ocean Pines Farmers Market Berry Festival is made for berry lovers, who know it’s summer on Delmarva when the ripest, juiciest berries – perfect for making pies, jams and other treats – start appearing.  Join us to find the freshest Eastern Shore berries, including strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.  In addition to fresh berries from our farm vendors, there will be berry-themed foods, crafts and artisan products.




Kids Market Zone

This Saturday at the Kid’s Market Zone, Ms. Vicki and the children will be decorating flower pots and planting them with a beautiful blooming flower. Children will take their flower pots home and watch their plants grow!  The Kid’s Market Zone has a new location – look for the crafting table next to Coconut Gypsy Apothecary and just across from Holly Hill Homemade Goods.

Kids Market Zone activities are free!  Activities begin at 9 am and are open to all children ages 3 to 14. The Holy Trinity Cathedral is host of the Ocean Pines Farmers Market’s Kids Market Zone.
