The Ocean Pines Farmers Market is warming up for the spring and summer season! Be sure to visit our new vendors and returning favorites this and every Saturday in White Horse Park from 8 am-1 pm. Click here to learn more about the Ocean Pines Farmers Market, including participating vendors.
Tumbleweed & Eddies – Tails will be wagging on April 25 as Lisa and Jonathan return to market with their all-natural homemade pet treats. Dogs love the great taste and you’ll love the fact that there are no artificial flavors, unwanted ingredients or fillers.
Stout Jewelry – Kathryn Stout brings her casual jewelry to market on April 25. Her creations are handcrafted with hemp twine and accented with colorful beads and stones.
La Marche – Mange fresh fruit vinegars are now available at La Marche! Choose from Blood Orange, Fig, Lemon Thyme, Strawberry Basil, Raspberry and mango. Mange is a small business that uses natural juices and vinegars in its products. Cooking with these vinegars will give dishes an extra splash of freshness – add them to everything from seafood to salads!
Backyard Jams and Jellies – Krista has been making her jams & jellies for more than 25 years. Her husband loves to garden so she started making jams and jellies out of whatever was in season in the backyard. At the time her neighbors owned Franklin Hardware Store in Lewes, Delaware. One afternoon, while picking grapes, the neighbor suggested that Krista put a few jars in the hardware store. Those jars of jam flew off of the shelves – especially the Beach Plum Jelly, now a Delmarva favorite. That’s where Krista’s hobby started to turn into a business. Now Backyard Jams & Jellies has over 85 flavors, including fourteen award winners! Besides being found at numerous Sussex County, Delaware farmers markets and small business retailers throughout the first state, the jams and jellies are served at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C. Look for Backyard Jams & Jellies at the Ocean Pines Farmers Market beginning May 2.
Baked Dessert Cafe – From the town of Berlin, the Baked Dessert Café is coming to the Ocean Pines Farmers Market on May 2. Get ready to stuff their all-natural baked goodness into your market basket!
Holly Hill Homemade Goods – A local favorite is now calling the Ocean Pines Farmers Market home. You’ll find a selection of home-style baked goods, including the popular Maryland Eastern Shore sweet potato biscuits. Choose from pound cakes, cookies, brownies and more. Those seeking gluten-free baked goods will be tempted with many options, too. Oh, and the fudge! Elise and the Holly Hill crew join the market on May 2.
In My Hands – The Collick ladies create beautiful home-sewn items. At their market stand on May 2 you’ll find a selection of handmade tote bags, handbags, table toppers and runners, embroidered towels and pillowcases, placemats, kitchen towel hangers, dolls and more. Check back here or on the Ocean Pines Farmers Market Facebook page to see when In My Hands will be visiting the market next.
Grateful Living Homestead – The Lilley family will be bringing a variety of home-crafted health, wellness and beauty products (with no junk or chemicals you cannot pronounce) to market. Look for upcycled gypsy/vintage wearables by Summer, hand-spun novelty fiber mermaid strand hair pieces by Sophie, antler buttons and jewelry by David, recycled skate deck jewelry/art by Jonathan and hand-knitted bows by Ruby. The Lilley family sees beauty in simplicity and in making something from nothing. The Lilley family joins the market beginning this May.
Opening Day May 2 – On this day we will welcome back many of our returning vendors and introduce you to the newest members of our family. Over 50 vendors will be participating in this year’s market. You can shop for fresh produce from 11 local farms and delicious baked goods from our bakers. You can also purchase wine from several Maryland wineries, local roasted organic coffee, all-natural pet treats, sweet confections and gourmet foods of all kinds. Seek out the unusual with our bazaar vendors and find unique items with our artisans and craftspeople.
Memorial Day Farmers Market May 23 – Fire up the grill with all of the fixins found at the Memorial Day Weekend Farmers Market. Early summer produce at its freshest will be stacked high on our farmers’ stands. A selection of beef, pork, poultry and lamb from Great Expectations Farm or fish from Alaskan Wild Seafood will be ready for the grill. Grab a freshly baked pound cake to serve with ripe summer berries, or take home a delicious pie. You’ll find the season’s best at this special market!
Berry Festival June 27 – The Ocean Pines Farmers Market Berry Festival is made for berry lovers, who know it’s summer on Delmarva when the ripest, juiciest berries – perfect for making pies, jams and other treats – start appearing. Join us to find the freshest Eastern Shore berries, including strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. In addition to fresh berries from our farm vendors, there will be berry-themed foods, crafts and artisan products.
Vendor Staffing Opportunities – Several market vendors have staffing opportunities available at the market for the spring and summer season. If you or someone you know is interested, please stop by the Market Information Booth and leave your contact information. (The market only provides the contact information to interested vendors. The Ocean Pines Farmers Market is not involved in the hiring process.)

Artisan Vendor Call – Artists and crafters, you’re invited to participate as vendors at the 2015 Ocean Pines Farmers Market. The market is becoming a Saturday morning cultural centerpiece of Maryland’s Eastern Shore community by embracing artisan market vendors. In addition to the traditional farmers market vendors, shoppers now look for artisans selling jewelry, beading, metalwork, photography, paintings, leather goods, carved wood pieces, textiles and other products. For artisan vending information, contact Market Manager David Bean at firstname.lastname@example.org or 410-251-6383.
The Ocean Pines Farmers Market is seeking musicians to provide background music for our visitors as they shop the market. Musicians provide casual performances at randomly assigned locations through the market and can open up their cases for tips! If you are a musician who would like to share your music with others, please contact Market Manager David Bean at 410-251-6383 or email@example.com.
