Celebrate fall at the Ocean Pines Farmers Market! This week’s market will feature activities for all ages, music, and more! The market is open from 8 am to 1 pm this and every Saturday at White Horse Park. You’ll find local fresh produce, artisan breads, baked goods, handcrafted items, meats, seafood, pet treats, wine, soaps and much, much more. New Vendor – Welcome to new vendor Seashell Sweets Retro Confections. Gina and Kate will be bringing their converted retro camper filled with locally made ice cream, baked goods, old-fashioned candies, beverages and more.
Visiting Vendor – The Lef Tea Company will offer their selection of loose leaf teas and products to this week’s market. The Lef Tea Company team is proud of its tea-making expertise and focuses on bringing a diverse selection of flavors that can be mixed to create a perfect drink.
Meet Me at the Market – This week enjoy yoga under the pavilion at 9:30 am with Kristin Quinn, a 200RYT certified yoga therapist. All levels of yoga enthusiasts are welcome to participate. Kids Market Zone – Pumpkin Palooza will invade the Kids Market Zone this week! Ms. Vicki Lawrence and her pumpkin patch assistants will be crafting with kids between 9 am to 12 noon. Each child will choose a pumpkin and then decorate it with a variety of craft materials. This activity is open to all children between the ages of 3 and 14, and the cost is $6 per child. The Kids Market Zone will be located next to the Holy Trinity Pantry. Proceeds from this Kids Market Zone activity are being donated to the Holy Trinity Church.
Community Corner Tent – Now your civic group, club or non-profit organization can be featured under our Farmers Market Community Corner Tent. Market Music – “Uke of Earl” Charlie Flagiello will be performing this week. And mark your calendars now for Open Mic on the Market Stage on Oct. 18 from 10 am to 1 pm.
