This Week at the Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market: July 9

The Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market is more than just vegetables! Stop by White Horse Park for live music, cooking demonstrations, unique handcrafted items and special guests in addition to our bountiful fresh produce and baked goods. The market is open Saturdays year-round from 8 am-1 pm and Wednesdays April-September from 3-7 pm.

MARKET EVENTS

Live Music – The soothing sounds of Crayola Six Strings return to the White Horse Park Marketplace.  Marie has become a favorite of shoppers and merchants alike on the market stage. Take a break from the shopping and enjoy her smooth music.

Cooking Demo – The aroma of just-picked orchard fruits will be coming from the Marketplace Open-Air Kitchen. Chef Maggie will be gathering sweet stone fruits, including those locally grown ripe peaches from the green market, and baking up something special in the kitchen’s oven from 10am-noon.

Miss Delmarva July 21 – Miss Delmarva 2018, Hannah Dukes, will visit the marketplace from 10-11:30am. Hannah is from Laurel, Delaware and a huge advocate for healthy living and clean eating.  Hannah will join our Chef Maggie Haren in the Marketplace Open-Air Kitchen for a fun cooking demonstration, then greet shoppers and sign autographs.

Market Stroll July 28 – The Market Stroll returns to the Ocean Pines marketplace as we team up with the Worcester County Health Department for a fun and informative guided tour through the green market. Meet our merchants, learn about their products and get menu ideas from dietician Kathy Wool. The tour begins at 10am; participants will gather at the Farm Market Café upon arriving for the tour. We encourage pre-registration by calling Kathy Wool at 410-632-1100, ext. 1113.
