This Week at the Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market: July 2

This Week at the Marketplace

CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY AT THE MARKETPLACE: No one does the Fourth of July quite like your Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market. Plan to spend your Wednesday morning at the Marketplace in White Horse Park.   You’ll find plenty of locally grown produce, Maryland crabs and seafood, baked goods, and handmade artisan items.  Market opens at 8am and runs through 1pm at 239 Ocean Parkway and is always open to the public.  Before the fireworks light up the sky, start your day with our Farmers and Artisans.

Open-Air Marketplace Kitchen – Saturday, 10am

IT’S TIME FOR A COFFEE BREAK: Chef Maggie is joined by market merchant Brian King, roast master of Ethne Coffee Roasters.

Brian will be showing Maggie how to brew coffee with the Pour-over method.  Pour-over is one of the simplest ways to make coffee at home.  It involves no more than pouring hot water over ground coffee bean.  The result is a flavorful cup of coffee.  Brian says the extra flavor is worth the effort and will show us how.

No coffee break would be complete without a delicious treat to compliment that cup of locally roasted coffee beans.  Chef Maggie will be working her magic in the Open-Air Kitchen oven, making a sweet baked treat to serve with Brian’s coffee.

All the culinary fun begins at 10am.  Join us for this free and informative demo at your Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market.
