Traffic restrictions are scheduled Thursday, March 2 along Seafarer Lane in Ocean Pines through Monday, March 6 while crews work to install a 500-foot pipe underground. The project is a scheduled water main install for the new comprehensive cancer services center, Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute, located at Route 589 and Cathage Road.
The restrictions between Pirate Place and Yeoman Court along Seafarer Lane are in place today and will be in place Friday, March 3 and Monday, March 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the Salisbury-based construction management firm Gillis Gilkerson.
Drivers will be directed to turn around when approaching the construction site, according to the site manager.
Gillis Gilkerson has been tasked with the completion of the 20,000-square-foot facility, which is expected to be complete within 12 to 15 months.
