Fall Indoor/Outdoor Flea Market

The Indoor/Outdoor Flea Market on Saturday, September 22 welcomes vendors selling gently used clothing, household items, collectibles and more. Indoor spaces are inside the Community Center gymnasium and include an 8’ table and a chair. Outdoor spaces are the parking spaces in front of the Administration Building (bring your own table). Spaces for Ocean Pines residents are $15 for indoor and $10 for outdoor. Spaces for nonresidents are $20 for indoor and $10 for outdoor. Click here to view the vendor registration form.

Pickleball Pink Ribbon Classic at the Beach

Make plans to attend this special event hosted by the Ocean Pines Pickleball Club and the American Cancer Society on Friday, October 5 from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm. Register for the Round Robin format tournament or the “newbie” clinic!

This recreational soccer program for boys and girls ages 4-6 has sessions beginning September 4 and February 20 from 6:-6:45 pm at the Ocean Pines Community Center.

For ages 18 months – 3 years. Offers parent and child the opportunity to socialize with others through indoor playtime, music and movement. This is a time to explore, discover, create and play together while sharing the joys and challenges of raising happy children with other parents. Your child will have the opportunity to play with balls, hula-hoops, tunnels and a giant parachute, games and slides. A parent/guardian is required to stay with each child.

A fun and exciting soccer program that allows preschoolers to burn off some energy and learn soccer basics in a non-competitive environment. Socialization, simple soccer fundamentals and lots of fun are the main focus.

Happy Feet Fall 2013

Heartsaver CPR with AED Training @ Ocean Pines Community Center
Sep 20 @ 6:00 pm – 8:45 pm

This course teaches adult, infant & child CPR and the use of an AED.  Designed to train the rescuer to correctly respond to a cardiac emergency.  Upon satisfactory completion of the class, a CPR certification card will be issued.  Fee includes all necessary materials, a certification card, and CPR pocket mask.

Fall T-Ball @ Manklin Meadows Field

Fall T-Ball @ Manklin Meadows Field | Ocean Pines | Maryland | United States

Youth t-ball, for boys and girls ages 4-6, will be held on Saturdays Sept. 15- Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. Players will learn and practice skills the first three Saturdays; games will be played the following three Saturdays.

The popular and long-running program is designed to teach softball and baseball basics. Participants will practice hitting, running and throwing using special balls designed to prevent injuries. Participants will need their own gloves but helmets will be provided.

This program is open to the public and registration is required. For more information or to register, call the Ocean Pines Recreation and Parks Department at 410-641-7052.

Youth Drop-In Basketball @ Ocean Pines Community Center

For boys and girls ages 16 and under. Grab your friends and head to the gym for some indoor court time! Basketballs are available for use. Please wear non-marking athletic shoes on the court (no black-soled shoes).

The sessions will start out with basic skills and lightly competitive group games.
