Write it Right @ Ocean Pines Community Center
Nov 17 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

The written word – whether it is in emails, business proposals, or executive summaries – is the most powerful communication tool we utilize. Clear, concise writing is essential in conveying a message, persuading a point of view or presenting an idea. Jobs can be lost even before they are considered because of poor grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. In this interactive class we will review the basics that are the foundations of effective writing, writing drills using prompts, and critique well-known writers. There will be discussion of what interests readers and how to write in an engaging manner that will maintain their interest. This class is for those who want to take their writing to the next level of professionalism. Presented in cooperation with the Center for Extended and Lifelong Learning of Salisbury University.
