About

The Recreation & Parks Department offers an array of year-round recreational and leisure activities for all ages and interests. The mission of the Recreation & Parks Department is to provide quality and cost-effective recreational activities, facilities, parks and special events that meet the needs of Ocean Pines property owners and residents. In order to fulfill its mission, the department offers a broad range of classes and community-wide activities. It also operates and schedules activities in the Community Center, parks, marinas, Beach Club and tennis facilities.

Disc Golf League Take a break from adult life & try your hand at disk golf, a blend of golf & Frisbee. This league is managed by OP Residents/players. 
Toddler Time Come socialize your little ones through indoor playtime, small crafts, music & movement.
Youth Martial Arts Monthly class designed for fun and learning, our classes blend the fundamentals of karate with essential self-defense skills.
Adult Martial Arts Monthly class where students will learn a range of practical martial arts techniques. 
Kickboxing Cardio Fridays Kick start your weekend with kickboxing cardio, aerobic & interval training at the Community Center.
Chair Yoga A basic yoga practice seated in a chair.
Zumba Toning This low-impact, high-energy exercise program is great for every body and everybody!
PM Zumba New dates coming soon!
Pilates Barre & Toning A fusion of exercise formats tailored to a variety of fitness goals, ages and abilities all while set to music to inspire and motivate.
Shibashi - I A Qigong practice of 18 slow repetitive moves. All ages welcome. Tuesdays, Jan 14-Mar 4 9:30-10:40am at the Comm. Center Gym. Op resident $65, Non resident $81. Call 410-641-7052 to register.

Spring Flea Market Sat, April 5, 8am-12noon at White Horse Park & Community Center. The market welcomes gently used clothing items, toys, collectibles, jewelry & many other items. Free to shoppers!
Phillies vs Dodgers Bus Trip Sunday, April 6, depart from OP Community Center at 8:30am. Game will be at the Citizens Bank Park. $85/ticket; includes transportation and ticket only. Call 410.641.7052 for tickets and more details. 
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny Sat, April 12, 8-11am at the Community Center. Bring the entire family for a morning of food, festivities & photos.
