Projects in the Pines: March 18-24

The Public Works team met with a few homeowners last week to discuss drainage issues going forward.  We will be holding a working group on this issue Friday, March 22 at 10am at the Public Works office if anyone would like to attend.

We will be leveling the bids for the Country Club and Police Department today at which time the Board will then make its decision.

Andre Jordan, our golf course superintendent, will be ordering and planting Bermuda seeds for our Huntington Park fields.  This should bring in some nice turf by late spring, early summer.

The team met with the insurance company last week to bring our policy up to date.

The old staging area at Swim and Racquet Club has had all the stone/gravel removed and a new split rail fence put up. The sod will be going in this week.

The second floor of the Beach Club is currently being painted and we are looking to put in a ADA-compliant sidewalk to the bathrooms in the next few weeks.

Nobie Violante is currently working on updating our Bulkhead plan schedules going forward.  We will be creating a study with pictures.

Just as a final reminder, we have our Second Annual Community-Wide Job Fair this Saturday at the Community Center from 9am-12pm.

Recreation Manager Debbie Donahue is currently working on the White Horse Park replacement project. We are excited about what this project will bring to the community, especially our children and young at heart!

Have a great week and thank you all for your continued support of the Ocean Pines team!
