Projects in the Pines: April 29

The team continues to get up and ready for the summer season!

Landscaping is continuing to be addressed as well as lawn mowing. The Public Works team just finished mowing the ditches on the south side as well as Route 90 through section 10. The North side will be started this week. The drainage crew is looking to start back up at looking to replace the pipes from Beecham Road up to Bainbridge and then up to Moonraker. Larger pipes are looking to be installed to help with water flow. Drainage continues to be a top priority for the team!

Recreation and Parks is busy with camp registrations as well as preparing for our Bay Day event this Sunday, May 5th from 11:30-3:30pm This is a day of Watershed info, Food and fun for all ages!

Aquatics continues to get the 4 outdoor pools ready for our opening day on Saturday, May 25th! Clint Parks has been overseeing this and doing a great job.

The Marina opens May 4th. Our Dock Master Ron Fisher and his team have been working extra hard to get ready for the busy season.

New umbrellas were just placed up at our Racquet Center. We have a lot of fun events planned this summer at our Racquet Center so continue to check out our website as well as our facebook pages.
