In conjunction with the change in the adults-only pool policy, the Ocean Pines Board of Directors adopted further policy changes on Sunday, July 9 to help promote the “oasis” atmosphere at the Oasis Pool.
As part of the policy, the Oasis Pool will be designated for lap swimming/exercise use only from 8 -11 a.m. Monday – Sunday, and 4 – 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Three lap lane dividers will be in place during these times.
Sunbathing and other activities on the deck can continue as they have in the past, but the pool should be designated for exercise activities during the aforementioned hours. The lap lane dividers will be removed during recreational swim periods.
The Swim & Racquet Club Pool, located at 10 Seabreeze Road, and Sports Core Pool, located at 11144 Cathell Road, offer multiple lap lanes during all open operating hours for those desiring lap swimming outside of the designated hours at the Oasis Pool. Swim members may also use the Sports Core Pool for lap lanes Monday – Friday, starting at 6 a.m. In addition, lap lanes are available at the Swim & Racquet Club Pool when the pool is open.
The Swim & Racquet Club Pool and Sports Core Pool are much wider than the Oasis Pool and can support lap swimming during recreational swim periods.
