Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered the Maryland State Flag to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Tuesday, Dec. 31. This is in honor of Corporal Jamel L. Clagett, Badge 447, a veteran of the Sherriff’s Office, Charles County, Maryland.
Corporal Clagett died on Dec. 21 as a result of injuries suffered in the line of duty. This action is taken under the Protocol for the Maryland State Flag. Any questions on the above should be directed to the Office of the Secretary of State.
