Transitioning to Medicare can be a confusing time. With so many questions about health care, exactly what do seniors need to know days before the open enrollment period gets underway?
An expert with a local insurance agency has the answer. An hour-and-a-half seminar offered by Lynne McAllorum, LUTCF, LTCP, CSA, of Baby Boomer Insurance will be held from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 9.
October starts the Medicare annual open enrollment period. This is the one time of year when each individual covered by the federal program gets to make changes to how they receive benefits.
There are many choices, but what is right for you? Lynne McAllorum, an independent agent with expertise in Medicare products, will discuss Medicare rules and what is available in the market.
The seminar, which will be held at the Ocean Pines Community Center at 235 Ocean Parkway, is free and open to the public. Registration is preferred and spaces are limited. Seniors who are currently enrolled in Medicare or those about to enter the program are encouraged to attend.
Baby Boomer Insurance is an insurance agency focused on the insurance needs of a diverse generation born between 1946 and 1964 known as the “Baby Boomers.”
