Food and Beverage Manager – Yacht Club


Ocean Pines Association is seeking an experienced food and beverage manager for the Ocean Pines Yacht Club and Cove Restaurant.

This is a hands-on position with an emphasis on direct guest service.   Direct responsibilities, in addition to day-to-day staff supervision to include but not limited to: recruitment, hiring, training, schedule, and employee reviews.  Leadership, including the ability to positively motivate employees and maintain very high service standards, is critical.  The Food and Beverage Manager will also provide management and oversight of banquet/event business including: dining room set-ups, staff assignments, food and beverage delivery plans, coordination of outside vendors, and event breakdown.  He/she must maintain a strong knowledge of dining room procedures, policies and systems, including POS system. He/she is responsible for ongoing quality control management of all aspects of dining room activity.

Requirements

  • The applicant must have a minimum of five years experience as a full service restaurant or club manager with strong financial and personnel management, budgeting, menu planning and public relations.
