The Ocean Pines Recreation & Parks Department conjures up an alternate Halloween-themed event for area residents to enjoy on Wednesday, Oct. 31 after Mother Nature unleashed haunting weather conditions that led to the cancellation of the annual Halloween/ Fall Festival.
The lobby of the Community Center, located at 235 Ocean Parkway in Ocean Pines, will undergo an eerie transformation to serve as a Halloween candy pick-up location for trick-or-treaters from 4 – 6:30 p.m.
The candy, which was donated to the Recreation & Parks Department for its previously scheduled Halloween/Fall Festival, will be given away to families who dare to visit the spooky Community Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
