Association Releases Summer 2017 Newsletter

The Ocean Pines Association (OPA) has released its quarterly newsletter, The Ocean Pines Report, on Monday, June 3. The Association has reported progress in area construction projects, which includes the Ocean Pines Beach Club and the Ocean Pines Golf Club. Acting General Manager Brett Hill provides a quarterly update of the Association’s operations. The Ocean Pines Association has announced the hiring of John Viola, the former chairperson of the Ocean Pines Budget and Finance Advisory Committee, as its new chief financial officer. Flip through the pages of the newsletter and take pride in the community you call ‘home.’

Ocean Pines Makes Forbes Magazine

Forbes Magazine, a leading source for business news and financial information, has named Ocean Pines as one of the top places in the nation to retire in 2017.
“The news was greeted with plenty of enthusiasm from the Ocean Pines Association,” Ocean Pines Marketing and Public Relations Director Denise Sawyer said. “We’ve known that Ocean Pines is a great place to call home and now the

Firefighters Rescue Owls in Ocean Pines

Everyone, or should we say everything, is flocking to ‘The Pines.’ Thank you, Ocean Pines Fire Department, for assisting Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research, Inc. with placing two Great Horned baby owls back in this newly-made nest. Read more on page 22.
