Another Snow Storm for Delmarva

Winter Weather Advisories were issue overnight for the Northern Neck and all of Eastern Shore (including MD and VA). Snow totals were increased in these areas primarily for snow expected this morning west of Richmond and this evening over the Northern Neck and Eastern Shore.

Eastern Shore and Northern Neck – Snow totals were increased for snow expected this evening and tonight. A snow and rain mix this afternoon will change over to all snow around 7 pm. Periods of snow, heavy at times, will linger through 1 am resulting in a quick 2 to 4 inches of accumulation. Some isolated higher amounts may be possible depending on the storms track. Northwest winds increase Wednesday with gusts to 40 mph or greater.

Elsewhere, a rain snow mix is expected this morning with mostly rain this afternoon. Winds over Bay and coastal counties will become NW Wednesday and gusts to over 40 mph.

No tidal flooding is expected at this time.
